I attended the European International Savate Boxing Championships in Colombes, France on Saturday, November 25, 2006.  This event was organized by Jean Pierre Masdoua (Boxing Club Colombes).  In competition were savate boxers from France (Ingrid Graziani, Erika Huille, Stephane Doya & Mario do Souto Semedo), Italy (Manuela Massari and Saro Serafino), Poland ( Zak Przemyslav) and Serbia (Slobodan Popov).   It was an exciting event with several exhibitions by youngsters and two handicapped exhibitions.  I spent time with the visiting trainers, referees and federation heads….I discussed with them the new “mixed martial arts” competitions that Washington, DC is planning to begin next year.  If your company is has an interest in being a sponsor for a sporting event, please send an email to cberrin@berringroup.com.
In November 2007 I attended the world Championship Savate Boxing Competition in France.  My good friend Stefan, a young police office, captured the heavy weight title.  There were representatives there from Canada, the US, Serbia, Poland, France, and Italy..............

The following day, I was a honorary judge at the annual Hip Hop Dance Battle competition in Colombes, France.  This competition had entries from as far away as South Africa.  It was a very exciting event, and the dancers were phenomenal.
