Keely Thompson, former world lightweight champion, invites you to join him, The Gambian Ambassador D. B. Jagne, Judge Arthur Burnette, DC Councilmember Jim Graham, Riggs  Bank Group Vice President Craig Pascal and other special guests at the Main Event—celebrating the first anniversary of Keely’s District Boxing and Youth Center in Washington DC.  This Black Tie affair will include a VIP Reception, dinner, silent auction, boxing exhibition and entertainment on Saturday, May 21, 2005, in the old world elegance of the Omni-Shoreham Hotel.

An anti-gang/youth violence initiative that blends training in the sport of boxing with academic, tutoring, mentoring, and life skills classes in preparing at-risk children and youth to be productive citizens.
